Since our first visit to Sedona, Arizona in the early 1990s, I've been fascinated with the unforgettable setting. Many of the old cowboy movies featured desert scenes with glorious red rocks rising in the background. Oak Creek Canyon. Bell Rock. Unforgettable memories. I knew I had to return. And I knew Sedona had to become a setting in some future book. The beguiling desert, vortexes, old copper mines, and the mystery of a lost gold mine are all part of my new book, Eagle Rising.
