She will also participate in the art show which runs May 28, 29, and 30.

Set in Trinidad, Night Watch is based on events Sikes actually experienced on an unforgettable trip to the island nation located off the coast of Venezuela. Before leaving, she watched the old Casablanca movie with Bogart and Bergman and foolishly decided that a character from that classic would travel in a white suit. The white suit turned out to be a big mistake because to reach her resort Sikes had to cross a churning sea in a small motorboat that leaked.
A visit to a network of dark caves with stalactites and stalagmites created lots of what ifs. Crossing the gulf and passing ocean-going vessels made her wonder, what if Lily Henri, her heroine, journeys by small boat over rough waters late at night with her life in danger? What if she looks like a woman murdered in the waters of the English Channel and mistaken identity puts her in danger? What if shes caught up in a gunrunning mystery and an art theft and gets kidnapped? These pieces of mystery and intrigue on the island of Trinidad and in the Grenadines are all part of Night Watch.
Oak Tree has created a traveling woman logo for Sikes Passenger to Paradise books. Other books in the series are: Hearts Across Forever, a reincarnation story set in Jamaica; Eagle Rising, a love story set in the beautiful red rock country of Sedona, Arizona; and Secrets by the Sea, a gothic mystery/romance set on the Caribbean island of Antigua.
